So, you’ve locked in your dream Bali villa; sun shining, private pool sparkling, and your favourite tunes setting the vibe!
Now what..... With your own tropical retreat at your fingertips, it's time to make the most of the incredible space as there’s no need to rush out the door.
We’ve rounded up some amazing activities you can arrange right in your villa. Think Cinema Nights under the stars, Cocktail Parties, Massages....the experiences can be endless and all in the privacy of your own villa! Some villas will be able to help organise these, while others may require a little DIY research of your own.
For recommendations on ALL of the below, my go-to resource is the Bali Groupies Facebook Page; a community of 145K+ Bali lovers sharing tips, referrals, and experiences daily. Just pop your keywords into the search bar, and you’ll find thousands of recommendations at your fingertips!
Whether you’re in the heart of Seminyak or chilling in a quieter corner of Bali, here are some of our favourite ways to enjoy your villa to the absolute max.
Turn Your Pool into a Waterpark
Bali’s tropical heat means pool time is essential, but why stop at just floating around?Make it epic by renting waterslides for your villa! Kids (and let’s be honest, adults too) will be entertained for hours without ever leaving home. This is one of the best ways to keep the kids entertained for HOURS, and exhausted at the end of a full day, meaning everyone sleeps really well!!

Hindu Offering Making Class
Everywhere in Bali you will see little colourful offerings; they are on the street, in front of house temples and of course in all the larger communal temples. These daily offerings are made to thank the supreme god of Indonesian Hinduism for peace in the world. The offerings are placed with a prayer. It’s the simplest daily house offering; you will see the Balinese Hindu people do this every morning in your villa, sometimes wearing a sarong and a flower behind their ears carrying a tray with the offerings.
Have your staff take some time to walk you through some of the cultural aspects and ask if you can help them to create some of these. You may then be invited to the small temple (often located in the villa or just outside) where the staff will pray. A great activity for kids and adults and you never know what interesting facts you will learn along the way.
Outdoor Cinema Night
Cinema Night in your private villa; imagine kicking back under the stars, a warm tropical breeze in the air, and the soft glow of festoon lights setting the perfect mood.
Get yourself comfy in plush beanbags, sip on fresh coconut cocktails or mocktails, and munch on freshly popped popcorn from their very own popcorn machine. With a giant screen and powerful speakers, every movie feels like a private screening at an open-air cinema.
Perfect for family movie nights, romantic date nights, or fun evenings with friends, this setup takes villa entertainment to a whole new level. Whether it’s a classic film, a new blockbuster, or even a surf documentary for that Bali vibe, there’s something for everyone.

LIT Letters & Booths
So the best part about having your private villa in Bali? You can do it all, or absolutely nothing at all! Whether you’re lounging poolside, sipping cocktails, or diving into a yoga session, your villa is your paradise.
